TASHKENT, February 27. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday in London, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, took part in an official reception hosted by the Government of the United Kingdom, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Pleased to attend an official reception in London with the participation of the leadership of the UK Foreign Office and representatives of leading British business circles, - the head of the MFA of Uzbekistan wrote in his Telegram-channel. - The event brought together leading UK companies representing various sectors, including Rio Tinto, Rolls-Royce, International Hospitals Group, and Intertek, which operate in areas such as industry, finance, infrastructure, critical minerals, and healthcare.

On the sidelines of the reception, we also held a meeting with H.E. David Lammy, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, where we exchanged views on further strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing our shared priorities.

The reception provided a valuable platform to strengthen direct dialogue with the British private sector, present Uzbekistan’s ongoing reforms, and discuss concrete opportunities for expanding trade, investment, and technological cooperation.

We remain committed to deepening our strategic partnership with the United Kingdom and unlocking new avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration”.
