Uzbekistan and Germany are jointly implementing around 40 major investment projects

TASHKENT, April 29. /Dunyo IA/. The Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Akram Aliyev and the Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association Michael Harms held online talks on the current status of investment projects between the two countries, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan (MIIT), the parties reviewed in detail the progress of the implementation of around 40 major projects.

The talks were held within the framework of the German Investment Navigator - a system designed to monitor and regularly analyse the implementation stages of joint initiatives.

Utilizing the platform’s mechanisms, the current status and emerging challenges were examined, with particular emphasis placed on schedule compliance and process acceleration.

The meeting served as a vital preparatory step for the upcoming session of the Uzbek-German Business Council and the strengthening of direct dialogue between the respective business communities. Partners reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation and launching new joint initiatives.
