Uzbekistan hosts joint delegation of investors from Pakistan and South Korea

ISLAMABAD, April 23. /Dunyo IA/. A delegation of investors from Pakistan and South Korea is visiting Uzbekistan from April 21st to 28th as part of a practical visit aimed at developing investment cooperation, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The delegation is composed of representatives from the Pakistani company “Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited” and several South Korean firms, including “AKS Information”, “Halla Engineering”, “Seoha Engineering and Construction”, “Office for Civic Solutions” and “Samoo CM”. It is led by Malik Muhammad Aslam, CEO of “Habib Rafiq (Pvt.) Limited”.
During the meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Alisher Tukhtaev, on the eve of the departure, the parties discussed the organization of the visit as well as promising investment projects in various regions of the country. Uzbek side provided information on the large-scale reforms being carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, particularly in the areas of construction and infrastructure, as well as the favourable conditions created for investors.
The visit's itinerary includes negotiations with representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as meetings in Tashkent, Khorezm region, Karakalpakstan and Samarkand region.
Among the projects under consideration are the construction of a modern data center in Karakalpakstan, the establishment of the “New Uzbekistan” residential area in the Khorezm region, construction of a high-rise residential complex in Samarkand, the creation of a tourist hostel within the Imam al-Bukhari complex in the Payaryk district and the development of new residential areas in the “New Tashkent” district.
Additionally, delegation will visit historical monuments and museums throughout the country's regions.
It was noted that the visit will be a significant step in expanding mutually beneficial trilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and South Korea in the fields of investment, construction, digital technologies, urban planning and tourism.
