SHANGHAI, April 2. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the “First Foreign Investment and Comprehensive Services Exhibition”, organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Shanghai Chamber of International Commerce, a seminar and business meeting were held dedicated to the economic potential of our country, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Chamber, Jin Shaohua, and other official figures. This event became a key highlight of the exhibition.

During his speech, Jin Shaohua noted the positive growth dynamics of the Uzbekistan market, the increasing share of foreign capital, and the ongoing reforms that create a favourable tax policy and convenient logistics opportunities for foreign companies. It was emphasized that given the current geopolitical situation, the region is an attractive destination not only as the heart of Central Asia but also from the perspective of security and stability.

Participants were presented with information on the improving business environment and the conditions created for partners. It was noted that thanks to its strategic location and infrastructural potential, the state serves as an important platform for accessing markets in Europe and other regions. Particular interest was shown by Chinese companies operating in the fields of energy, agriculture, manufacturing, IT, textiles and green technologies.

As part of the forum, the Chinese company Indra Bonded shared its experience of successful operations in Uzbekistan, noting the high market potential and active government support.

Following the event, representatives of Chinese businesses and Uzbekistan discussed prospects for further cooperation and reached a practical agreement to organize business missions for Chinese entrepreneurs to various regions of our country.
