BANGKOK, January 6. /Dunyo IA /. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand has announced the launch of an electronic visa (e-Visa) service in all its embassies and consulates worldwide starting from the beginning of this year, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the announcement, the e-Visa service has been available since January 1, 2025, across all 94 embassies and consulates of Thailand abroad.
Under the new system, foreign nationals seeking a Thai visa must submit their applications via the official online e-Visa platform at https://thaievisa.go.th/.
Notably, applicants are no longer required to physically submit their original passports or supporting documents to Thai diplomatic and consular missions.
Once the application is approved, the applicant will receive a confirmation email. They will need to print a copy of the confirmation email and present it to airline staff and immigration officers at the Thai border.
As per current regulations, Uzbekistan citizens have enjoyed visa-free travel to Thailand for stays of up to 60 days since July 15, 2024. Through the e-Visa system, citizens can now also apply for tourist, business, family, and other types of visas valid for up to 90 days.
