“Menora” newspaper: Updated Constitution of Uzbekistan reflects aspirations of the people for justice, well-being, social protection and sustainable development

TEL AVIV, December 13. /Dunyo IA/. In celebration of the Constitution Day of Uzbekistan, Bukharan-Jewish newspaper “Menorah” published an article highlighting the role of the Fundamental Law in the country’s development and ongoing democratic reforms, a correspondent of Dunyo News Agency reports.

The article notes that the drafting of the new edition of the Constitution represented one of the largest public processes in Uzbekistan, involving millions of citizens. The updated document reflects the people’s aspirations for justice, prosperity, social security, and sustainable development.

It also emphasizes the expansion of human rights and freedoms, the strengthening of the principles of a social state, and the deepening of democratic institutions.

The publication further highlights the significance of the reforms implemented under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aimed at improving citizens’ quality of life, reinforcing the rule of law, and expanding public participation in governance.
