ISLAMABAD, July 17. /Dunyo IA/.  Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan handed over 10 modern laptops as a free grant to technical school No. 3 in the Gurlan district of the Khorezm region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Handover ceremony was attended by diplomats led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov, the leadership of the educational institution, teachers and students. Within the framework of the event, the computer equipment was transferred to the technical school for use in the educational process.

Project was implemented within the framework of fulfilling the tasks defined by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and heads of foreign diplomatic missions of the country on January 15th of this year.

Participants of the event noted the importance of the reforms being carried out in the country aimed at training young specialists with modern knowledge and professional skills.

Transferred laptops will allow strengthening the material and technical base of the technical school, expanding the use of information and communication technologies in teaching, as well as improving the practical training of students in the fields of programming, computer graphics and design.

As reported by the educational institution, on the basis of the received equipment, it is planned to create an innovative educational and practical center, which will help students deepen their knowledge in the field of digital technologies and develop practical skills.

Currently, about a thousand students are studying in various professional areas at technical school No. 3 of the Gurlan district. Previously, the lack of computer equipment created difficulties when conducting practical classes in computer science and information technology.
